FootAR, a member of the eGames Lab, has been recognized as one of the most promising national startups in the *Scaleup Portugal Report 2024*, published by BGI and EIT Digital.

The 334 technology startups considered in the report generated a total of €188 million in revenue last year, with the top 25 collectively achieving €87 million in revenue.

Among the 25 most promising startups, the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector stands out, representing more than half (52%) of the top 25. This is followed by the consumer and web sector (28%).

However, in terms of revenue, the cleanTech and Industry 4.0 sector—despite comprising only 20% of the startups in the ranking—has the largest share, contributing 49%. The ICT sector follows with 37%, while consumer and web startups account for 13%.
