The acceptance term for the eGames Lab project was officially signed last Saturday, July 23rd. In a ceremony at the Electricity Museum in Lisbon, the event was attended by His Excellency the Prime Minister, as well as the Minister of Economy and the Sea, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Territorial Cohesion and the Minister of Higher Education.
The eGames Lab project will constitute a cluster of creative industries and video game production in the country, creating more than 130 new qualified jobs, out of a total of 220 jobs mobilized.
During the ceremony, a short presentation was made by the project leader and Wowsystems CEO, Dr. Miguel Campos.
The eGames Lab brings together more than 22 members and is set to start by Sept. 2022 and expected to reach market by 2025.
