The annual Madeira Blockchain Conference is part of the eGames Lab Agenda and is hosted by member Yacooba Labs. Made up of more than ten speakers from several European countries, will host several keynotes and roundtables, focusing on blockchain, its pros and cons, and how it could revolutionize and leverage the creative industries, presenting some practical use cases. In addition, networking is also a component of this conference, as we will have many companies that work with this technology. Utrust, Polkastarter and Ackee Blockchain are just a few of the companies that will attend.

Through a survey of companies and startups with Portuguese roots, we concluded that there are already more than two dozen companies working with blockchain technology, and the number is still growing, as well as the different areas of activity. Electronic payments and ticketing for events or sports are just some of the areas already explored in Portugal.
